Recently accounted a past client who tried to pull a fast one. Lied about service performance just to get service for free and avoid paying. Now they will likely gain some sales from my service but in the long term could loose it all.
I'm not sure if it's the economy making business people do crazy things but think about the long term. Don't mislead people for sales today only to be burned tommorow.
