The celebration of life, giving thanks and giving back on a big scale is on its way. And the great sales opportunity are just around the corner. Black Friday and Cyber Monday was crazy as usual. In some cases it’s not so much about the special promotions but the time of year to reconnect with family, friends, pets, parents, or favorite destinations. Some of us founders are fortunate to be in a part of the world that enables us to pursue our dreams comfortably and fulfill our desires in life easily and enjoy this wonderful time of the year. And then there are some of us who are faced with environments that do not nurture dreams, that discourage change or systematically hinder progress. Therefore we hope founders & the Founders Under 40™ Group members realize this holiday that we can do better for mankind.
In our view, 2015 was no different from 2014 or any other year. In our individual journey, and possibly tribal journeys, we still remain an intellectual species that can’t seem to find ways for everyone to have essential needs met. To finally eliminate unnecessary suffering.
Even that idea makes you wonder if the world would be a less challenging place for more people or will it be the same old shit.
The human world hasn’t changed and the years seem to deliver us a bit of everything.. Another year almost gone. Hopefully your years have been good to you if not we all try to find the light in the moment of darkness and thrive for a better tomorrow..
We, Founders & Entrepreneurs, have seen and observed life from many perspective. We have seen the blessings of rain, and the destructive power of rain. We have seen the power of belief and confidence in an entrepreneur like Elon Musk.
We have seen thousands of people leave their homes in Syria, their place of birth, not by choice but by the force of evil. And that force within Syria or its outside supporters will eventually be eradicated because Good will prevail. Our prayers goes out to the Syrians and others faced with national or regional instability.
We all have seen suffering in our neighborhoods and on our streets. We have seen the haves, have nots, and the have mores.
We , founders, have seen companies like Uber, Airbnb, etc show us that there are abundance of underutilized resources waiting to be tapped. Used clothing, used computers, used books, unused parking space, inexpensive tablets and smartphones, etc looking for users.
The sharing and collaborative economy continues to gain momentum. The question remains whether revenue from an independent gig or contract gig provides the same benefits as a dedicated employee. From what most already know about some business, they strive to keep cost down and give the profits to their shareholders and very little to tax or charity.
We, founders, have seen social media and social networks go from saviors of connections to disrupters of our social capital, to email annoyance. However companies like twitter, facebook, google, linkedin have helped connect us to each other on a global scale. However they haved failed in "social" and made us more vulnerable. In our opinion, people strongly need the next generations of social networks.

In the end, We founders must remember that our journeys are never forever. And the idea of leaving a great legacy that you will be proud of should be a top aspiration. What I say to myself, I take ownership of writing and editing a beautiful life story. One way to add to my story is to find ways to be of service to others. And think less about what I would gain.
Remember, there are no short cuts to success, wealth, power, influence, financial freedom, love, significant, etc. All these things are earned. You have to pay the price to have great things in life. So to my fellow founders, congratulations on having the courage to pursue your dreams however we, Founders Under 40™ Group team (www.foundersunder40.com), hope to collaborate with you on making the world a better place for all.
We wish you Happy Holidays. Safe celebrations.
